oil_change_verticalAt JMB, we recommend getting an oil change every 3,000 miles without exception.

Even if your owner’s manual says you can go longer between oil changes, there is a risk that you will miss the opportunity to catch and prevent other mechanical issues. For example, your auto tech may be able to catch that you are burning more oil than normal, or that you have a coolant leak, early enough to prevent expensive engine damage.

During your oil change, we will:

  • Drain the old oil out of your vehicle and replace it with fresh oil
  • Replace the oil filter

We will also check the following:

  • Air Filter
  • Antifreeze/coolant
  • Transmission fluid
  • Power Steering fluid

oil_change_dipstickIt is also a good idea to rotate the tires on your vehicle at every other oil change service. We keep track of your service records in our computer system. We will remind you when you need a tire rotation and request your authorization before doing so.
